Today we went to Andong and visited a private Confucian academy: Dosan Seodang. It was constructed in 1574 to enshrine a great philosopher and Neo-Confucian scholar: Yi Hwang. It was very beautiful and secluded. Hwang planted the lotus flowers in the south-eastern pong. There was only one in bloom.

Next we went to a traditional ville: Hahoe. This village was never affected by the Korean War; it was sort of a dead end road. People still live there and their main source of income is tourists. Wooseob bought some chilled bean soup.
